Pandanda.me - SCAM!

Hi fellow iPandanda users! :)

We've been alerted of a dangerous scam at the web address of "Pandanda.me" - we stongly suggest you do not access the website, as it may contain content which will harm your computer, and is known as a "phish" which we believe it to be stealing iPandanda.net user accounts, and your money.

How do we know this?

Well, all the images posted on their website and twitter feeds were actually taken on the iPandanda.net game, we have identified certain parts of the game, and the usernames featuring in the images are recently active users here on iPandanda.net. Their website has been online since June, and the only change is the Paypal donate button, hinting that they're trying to phish users into giving money to them to help them "develop their game".

We'll look into it further, and see if it's still dangerous or not. But for now keep out!

Evening Pandas!

Recently, it's come to my attention (thanks to everyone who emailed us, by the way!) that certain people are attempting to breach the security of iPandanda to "hack" moderator privileges and items.

We take our game's security seriously. That's why we work hard developing our own firewalls, security programs, encryption, etc. which means we're better protected from hackers than about 90 percent of the rest of the internet. What I'm saying is that it is virtually impossible for anyone to break into iPandanda, steal accounts, items, or gain moderator powers, despite what people might claim. Of course, I can't go into detail about how we do it, but if you have any questions be sure to email us, or ask us on the chat box.

But I can reassure you that anyone who claims that they can, or have hacked iPandanda, is lying, and we'll take appropriate action if necessary.

Sorry to have been away, but... - WE'RE BACK!

We're back! All of us! And we're so, so sorry we've been away for two months, with little activity! We've had our exams, coursework, a "next-step in life", and I have been without a computer, and two of us have been experiencing family-related issues.

However, starting tomorrow Friday 28th' of June, we will be rolling out updates, which include QUESTS, a new iPandanda System, updates to the Parental Control panel, a new working radio, with the best music around the world, possibly a new chat system and a touched-up website!Membership will remain free, and you should be able to add more buddies soon!

SCAM ALERT!

False emails.

Users from iPandanda have been receiving spam, scam emails; telling people they're a moderator, or such, on iPandanda, this is not true (sorry!). These emails are potentially dangerous, and we suggestYOU DO NOT CLICK ANY LINK IN THE EMAIL. We, iPandanda, do not email you, and have never emailed you since day one. Report any email from someone pretending to be an iPandanda official here: http://ipandanda.net/app/report/email.html.

Again, we would like to stress that anything said in these emails are lies, incorrect, and are currently being treated as hack attempts on users. Do not click any link in the emails.

Fake facebook fan page.

We have recently discovered a facebook page, pretending to be iPandanda administrators. https://www.facebook.com/pages/iPandanda/244187702374946?fref=ts. This page is not owned, moderator, or created by any iPandanda staff member, and all the information on it is false, and should be ignored. For proper, reliable information use blog.ipandanda.net, http://sherman98pandanda.wordpress.com, http://pandanadafire.wordpress.com/ (iPandanda Fire), or any other awesome iPandanda blog!

An investigation into the Facebook page, and emails is currently in-progress. The users responsible will be banned.
